The shop-sa Year End function held at the Barnyard in Cresta recently saw members arrive dressed in true Carnival style as per the Mardi Gras theme.
Feather boa’s, glittering masks and festive table decorations added colour to the excitement of the night.
Shop-sa Executive Director Eugene Kleynhans opened the evening by addressing the members with some of the highlights of the planned strategy for the way forward in 2012. Allan Thompson of Kolok joined him on the stage and revved the crowd for further donations to the Soweto Youth Development Programme.

With already R35 000 raised by the event’s ticket sales, a further
R15 000 was raised by the following companies:

Dennis Creighton expressed deep gratitude for the generosity of the donors and gave a short background into this very worthy cause.
The entertainment proved spectacular with everyone off their seats and dancing in the aisles. The good cheer shared by members and their clients alike is sure to carry the spirit into the festive season’s summer break and invigorate everyone for a new year of business in 2012.
